Sadly at 5.5 years old, DS1 resembles the latter far more than the former!

Count me in on this too. Just wish Steffi would sometimes sleep on the

other side of the bed, rather than right up close behind me.

Steffi now sleeps about 50% of nights in her own bed, all night. We

play musical beds when Grae's around and she doesn't - she comes into

our room and depending on how tired I am I either pull her into our bed

then get out next time I wake up too hot/with no covers and go to the

spare room or pick her up and take her to the spare room.

On the rare occasion Grae goes to bed before me, I always sleep in the

spare room! Lovely to get in a bed and know I'll have it all to myself

as Steffi will almost certainly climb in beside him if she wakes up!
