Guest guest
Why do all the blood sugar sites I find on Google keep saying that your bs should never go over 140, even after a mean, and that fasting should be in 70 -80 range? I know you know TONS about all this, Val, and I trust you more than a bunch of google sites. > > 94 is a good fasting reading and is fine, the 77 was fom exercise which > not only burns up glucose it also lowers insulin reisstance. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
Fasting ranges are up to 99 per ADA which si not to say they are the final wordin Diabetes, cause they sure arenlt in my book, but that si considered normal fasting glucose, I do agree it shoudl never go over 140 and that woudl indicate the begining of troubel, BTW any illness of strwess can raise fastign glucose above 80 and that si where I get MY figures from , most of us have at the very least health stresses. 70 for MOST people is a tad hypoglycemic. but some people's bodies adjust to being there and it is a comfortable number for them, I feel my best at 75-80 but I only manage that number transiently through the day. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Hi Val This is helpful for me too, because I also found confusing info about ranges on the internet. I am beginning to wonder if I may be slightly hypoglycemic. My fasting glucose today was 74, and as a test, I ate three donuts, then took my glucose an hour later and it was 84. This is on 55 mg of HC per day! Is this why I am always craving sugar? Do you think these numbers mean I was probably hypoglycemic before my HC therapy? Also, can being hypothyroid cause hypoglycemia? I am still low, temp-wise, although I feel okay. Blood sugar stuff is confusing for me...I don't know if I should be eating sugar, or not eating, or what. Thanks Val! > > Fasting ranges are up to 99 per ADA which si not to say they are the > final wordin Diabetes, cause they sure arenlt in my book, but that si > considered normal fasting glucose, I do agree it shoudl never go over > 140 and that woudl indicate the begining of troubel, > BTW any illness of strwess can raise fastign glucose above 80 and that > si where I get MY figures from , most of us have at the very least > health stresses. 70 for MOST people is a tad hypoglycemic. but some > people's bodies adjust to being there and it is a comfortable number for > them, I feel my best at 75-80 but I only manage that number transiently > through the day. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
