Guest guest
Per Val's suggestion, I decided to buy a glucose meter at CVS and took my blood sugar level this a.m. before breakfast, then this afternoon 2 hours and 18 minutes after lunch. My fast glucose was 94 I had a terrible time getting enough blood for a reading in the afternoon, so I had to start exercising for 10 minutes to get my circulation going. I took my level and it was 77. My question is, does the exercise make the reading skewed? I was actually suprized the reading was so low. Is 2 hours and eighteen minutes too late to get a good reading after a meal? Is 94 fasting high in your opinion (val?) I am taking 55 mg HC, which is why I have to check my levels Thanks!
