scd and enzymes & questions

Doing well on scd,but have found that finding the right enzyme makes the difference.Right now have been trying www.enzymedica.com and taking lypo gold with acid soothe.I have tried others to no avail.The recipes are wonderful, I have made sorbet and frozen yogurt and then put in small containers for a desert. I commend all the bakers out there, the recipes are wonderful.I do have a question, if one is going to a function in your honor and they know that you eat scd, but do not have anything for you, besides taking my food how can you tell the hostess that you are not able to eat what they ahve prepared for you?The other question, if one is on the road and need to stop and get something at a small food mart, what can one eat there.
