Guest guest
There are those who claim that t3's inability to enter the cells can be due to glucose dysregulation. I'm not exactly sure what is meant by that; does it mean high blood glucose? anyhow, I did my own little anecdotal experiment: On low carb meals my blood sugar seems ok. So I experimented with a 'regular' meal, just a little bit of potato soup (potato, zuchini) with a protein, and my blood sugar shot up close to 140, and I tell you it was a toddler-size portion! I can only imagine if I was to eat an adult-size portion of potato soup or other carb, my blood glucose would be well above 140. On low carb it is typically 122. So in essence I may be a diabetic who is controlling her blood sugar via low carb eating.
