If I do go on the prescription potassium (K-Dur), what is the recommended

dosage? Do I have to taper up with it, or take half in the morning, half at

night? It is listed as being in 20 mg tablets. Thank you again.

I think it should be divided, it says on the bottle to divide it. People need anywhere from 20 meq (1 pill) to 100 meq (5 pills). Your potassium and sodium levels need to be tested every couple of weeks to see what's happening.

Thank you, I will read the bottle carefully when it arrives. Val had mentioned

a source in Canada for K-Dur, do you happen to know what it is? If yes, would

you kindly email it to me privately? Thank you again.

Thanks so much, Val. Absolutely nothing has helped my muscle pain...it sounds

so much like what you said about your muscle pain that was (finally) helped by

high-dose potassium. I will let you know how it works for me. Thank you again.
