Guest guest
I am confused- horrible brain fog- but I can start the RT3 clearing process... Free T4 0.88 (0.82-1.77) Free T3 2.8 (2.0-4.4) TSH .216 (.450-4.5) Reverse T3 201 (90-350) Ferritin 25 (10-291) I have read and re-read Nick's information but I am confused... Do I just STOP taking the synthetic T4/T3 that I have been taking? (T4=21mcg/ T3= 9mcg) and wait for my temperature to drop? I have been taking an additional 5 mcg of T3 PLUS I added an another 5mcg yesterday of the T3 (after writing here and Val's suggestion). I took the T4/T3 capsule today. I really don't want to be a pain but I want to make sure I am doing this correctly... I am scared but I know I need to do this... Yes. I am working on raising my ferritin- now taking 189mg of Chelated iron. My heart had been POUNDING this week (Not racing) yet I have had some anxiety... Guest guest
Until your ferritin is at least 50 it may be wise to just continue the T4/T3 WITH additional T3 as your body will not tolerate enough T3 until you get the ferritin up better. Once you get Ferritin to at least 50 or higher, then you can drop the T4/T3 and go with straight T3 till you are no longer hypo. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
OK. Should I test the ferritin now- been on this 3 weeks?? I added the extra 5mcg you recommended because of the heart pounding I started experiencing this week...??? > > Until your ferritin is at least 50 it may be wise to just continue the > T4/T3 WITH additional T3 as your body will not tolerate enough T3 until > you get the ferritin up better.
