Guest guest
I had my second Remicade infusion today. Right now I feel really wiped out. Does it affect anyone else this way? Don't remember feeling that way last time. Had an interesting talk with an orthopedic surgeon today. He said that there was really no cartilage left in my right foot between the ankle and the foot bones. The good thing is that they may fuse together by themselves without surgery. Hopefully if it does, it will fuse straight. But being on Remicade might stop the fusion. Kind of a double edged sword, I guess. It's funny to think that you have so much damage, that now things might actually get better. That's one way to look at it. Has anyone had any experience with fusing bones? Especially foot/ankle bones? I'm curious to see how it worked out and whether it allowed for normal movement and ease afterwards. Thanks for any replies. gloria
Guest guest
For my first few Remicade infusions they gave me Benedryl to help with any problems and it caused me to feel wiped out for the rest of the day after an infusion. Now they no longer give me Benedryl and I am no longer wiped out. I don't have that kind of damage in any of my joints yet and I hope the medicines will keep me from getting the damage. God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: gloriarex@... Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Tuesday, March 22, 2005 8:45 PM Subject: Re: second Remicade I had my second Remicade infusion today. Guest guest
I usually feel really wiped out after my remicade infusions. And generally very tired while the drug is going in. Take it easy and look after yourself. I am sorry, but I too dont know anything about fusing bones.
