Guest guest
I think I am having a major flare right now. It's not so much pain and inflammation as it is complete and total exhaustion. (that's part of a flare, right?) I make it halfway through the day and I can take about a 3 hour nap and still need more. I decided to up my prednisone from 4 mg/day to 10 mg and I'm wondering if anyone has done that to help combat the fatigue part of a flare. I'm switching to Remicade in a couple of weeks, having been on Humira 1x a week and not having much luck with it.Hoping that the prednisone will help things before the Remicade kicks in. I also have to travel to Europe for a week for business (unavoidable) and am a bit concerned about feeling well on the trip. Your replies are greatly appreciated. gloria

Guest guest
Personally, I think it may help. It helps me with flares. I think Pred. is a wonerful drug, to bad it is so harmful to us. I have never been able to get under 20mg daily without swelling, inflamation and severe pain. When I flare I hit it with up to 60mg for a few days then start backing off. Good luck, Jay > I think I am having a major flare right now. It's not so much pain and > inflammation as it is complete and total exhaustion. (that's part of a flare, > right?)
