Guest guest
1) How do you know when you have been cleared of T4? 2) I am not able to take more than 4 mg. of Medrol due to blood clotting problems (I was having severe superficial bloodclotting on 6 mg. Medrol and have had a major DVT previously). How can I dose accordingly? I have been suffering from depression, mood swings, etc. on 125 mcg of Cytomel. Guest guest
I woudl suggest labs at this poitn to see if it si pooling and not getting to your cells or if it si just not being absirbed well. At 125mcg you shoudl be feeling better. How long have you been on T3 onyl and what brand are you taking? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
I started on December 26 and am taking Cytomel. Any suggestions as to why it may be pooling? I do have Celiac Disease and malabsorbtion problems.

Guest guest
we have found it can take 12 weeks to really clear the Rt3 from the receptors.I wuld just hold the dose for a few more weeks and see if this doesn;t help. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Val, I lowered the Cytomel by 2.5 mcg and I am starting to feel better. My depression is subsiding. Thank you for the advice. I will stay at this level and see what happens. I am still not sure how to know when my T4 has cleared. I will continue to read but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
