Well, I'm probably bad, because I drink diet Gingerale, green tea and orange juice (with my iron supplement). I also do coffee in the morning, which I know can affect thyroid meds, though I dose sublingually so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Re the Yogi tea, have you tried the Royal Vitality? I tried a cup of that earlier this week and was remarkably more clear headed and productive. As a writer, the ability to use my brain is vitally important to my ability to keep a job! :-)

Is it ok to drink another 0.25 gallon or more of water with no sea salt in it? What do you guys drink? I basically only drink water and herbal tea (yogi tea) these days... Boring as heck! :)

Nick, you may be honored to know that my mother taught me at a very young age to drink hot tea with sugar and milk. It's one of my favorite beverages, even though I've never been to England. You guys are onto something delish there!

That made me laugh and smile for a second, Nick! :D I like England. It's a special place! I know how important teatime is for you! Hehe... Ok, I admit, I've become very fond of tea in the past 8 months while on HC, supplements and changing my diet. Herbal tea has become a part of my new and healthier lifestyle.Little did I know back in 2007 and before that, that drinking 3 liters of Pepsi Max (like Diet Pepsi) with aspartame was bad for me. I did feel AMAZING while drinking it. For 10 years. I was so happy I had my drink with "no sugar added"... :P Maybe the bad stuff in that drink helped me get AF? :pPS! How much liquid do you get daily? And how much of it has sea salt in it?

Aspartame and Splenda are POISON!!! I wouldn't even hesitate to say that it's causing MANY MANY health problems, such as AF and HypoT. On this list of side effects Grave's and HypoT is listed as being caused by or worsened by Aspartame.

>PS! How much liquid do you get daily? And how much of it has sea salt in it?

Don't measure it.

A lot of tea or squash in the summer.

None of it salted, I had to do that at times while clearing but

haven't felt the need for ages

Interestingly I used to drink Red Bull to wake me up in the mornings

when on Armour but haven't felt the need since I went onto T3 and

cleared resistance.

Peculiar. I guess I "felt the need" to drink 1-3 liters of caffeine soft drinks (Pepsi Max was my fave) for years while on T4 and T4/T3 combo. One day I just stopped drinking it. I now avoid anything with aspartame in it. I know it's a bad thing. And I don't need the caffeine now, as I understand it could've contributed to my AF. :P But I guess my 20 pack of cigs a day and lots and lots of soft drinks was something "I needed" back a few years... When my adrenals started to wear down themselves.

wow, 20 pacs a day. Have you considered metal toxicity. There is alot of cadmium

in cigarettes.

Also Dr. Lowe mentioned that the cyanide in cigarrette smoke damages the

receptors for cortisol on the last interview he did with Janie.

I'd look at going to this website and learning more about that hair test you

had:

Most x smokers have adrenal/thyroid problems as metal toxicity as a result.

Sometimes treating that in conjunction with taking hormones leads to getting

your health back. Best of luck. I hope you figure out how to feel better soon!
