Importance of reporting time and fasting or not fasting to Lab for Lab results

Hi Val and Nick,

This morning I was looking over the past couple of lab reports and noticed

something that I really question, and wonder if it has any effect on the true

results of my lab reports. All of my labs have been done in the morning and I

have been fasting. All of the past results reflect this as well except for my

last two draws. The past couple of reports(new lab girl in Dr's.

office)reflect my blood draw was done at 14:13 and 14:25 and say that I was not

fasting. I was fasting on both of these labs and I also went in for the draws

at approximately 8:30-9:00AM. I'm going to question this discrepancy next time

I go in but I am also curious if this messes up my true lab values? Maybe I'm

stressing about this for no reason but I am very curious to know if this will

give a false reading.

Thanks,
