Guest guest
Thanks, Jo-Ann, I don't know what happened to my first post about my u/s.....it "disappeared" off into computer space!! I seem to get posts much later too sometimes but still haven't seen that post yet!! It was amazing and I do feel good about things. Yeah, I am not usually a patient person, so I am surprised that I really don't mind waiting to find out what we are having....a bet as time goes on I will get more and more anxious to know.....oh well, it will be a great day!! I hope you and your family are doing ok. 21wks1d
Guest guest
Vicki, I have to pick just one? LOL! If I have to choose, I would like the one of her sitting in the cloud with the wings and the halo, it's completely adorable. I would also love one of you and her together (wish list)! Let me know. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Thank you Jo-Ann!!! She is the icing on the cake, or the ice-cream ifshe takes after me at all!! But really everyone says she looks just likeMatt, and he looks like Bob, so I guess all I did was carry her for 9months and birth her!!! WAHHH!! Just kidding, his sisters are muchbetter looking anyway....after you see the rest you'll have to tell mewhich one to send up to you, I have the envelope ready to go.Vicki
Guest guest
Vicki, Yes I'm going back to the cold rink - lol! I start back after Labour Day. Both of the girls skate and Casey will start next year. I don't teach them, I find it easier if they get a different instructor, teaching your own can be very frustrating (at least for me). I'm actually looking forward to getting out of the house for a bit each week. As much as I love my kids, I still need a break and the extra money never hurts. Especially with Christmas coming up so quickly. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann Re: Jo-Ann Jo-Ann,Are you going back to being a skating instructor?? That is so cool. Doyour kids skate? My old boss for gymnastics is an international Iceskating judge, she goes everywhere, her daughter Kelsie does pairs and Iguess is pretty darn good! I think she'd be about 13 or 14 right now.Makes my life seem dull in comparison! Every year I get her Christmasletter and she's been to Africa or Germany or Poland..... She's ago-getter though, that's not really in my nature to travel like thatwithout Bob!Vicki
Guest guest
I know what you mean about teaching your own kids. I had Blake in Sunday School last year! URGGGHHH. He was the LAST one to listen although he got in the most trouble afterwards. Didn't seem to phase him a bit, but he's just like that. He and some other kids spent a considerable amount of time under the table, dragging them out was a challenge! Vicki
Guest guest
Vicki, I can completely relate. In a group setting it's next to impossible. I am on the ice at the same time, but have nothing to do with their lessons. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann Re: Jo-Ann I know what you mean about teaching your own kids. I had Blake inSunday School last year! Guest guest
Gosh JoAnn, I'm sorry, I hadn't even thought about the impact the horrid events of 9-11 would have on Wally's job. UGH! It sickens me to see how widespread and far reaching the damage has gotten. Just as that A**h*** sits in a cave somewhere thinking he is right and just in causing this chaos. UGH Again! I hope it picks up more! {{{HUGS}}}
Guest guest
, The devastation that the 9-11 events have caused go far beyond anyone expectations. I just hope it all calms down soon, for everyone. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann Re: Jo-Ann Gosh JoAnn, I'm sorry, I hadn't even thought about the impact the horrid events of 9-11 would have on Wally's job. Guest guest
Jo-Ann, I guess I will be "perfect" at it with all the practice I will be getting come Dec. (gee, at least I hope so...lol!!) I am alittle nervous about it but I figure with the class at the hospital and with you all, I will be ok....... Take care. Re: , - Dana , Go ahead and go to the class. I'm sure it will give you lots of useful information. When I nursed Olivia, I thought the first few days were tough. But really, the hard part only last for a few days and the key, I think, is to not stop. It actually feels better after your milk comes in to keep going and to nurse as often as possible. I think I never looked at stopping as an option. And, after the first few days, probably more like a week, it was a piece of cake. Now, the second time, with Emma, it was a cinch right from the start. I think it's a practice makes perfect thing, I guess! {{{HUGS}}}
Guest guest
Jo-Ann, It is great how we share our sad times, and have each other to help us get through them and we are able to share all the happy times too!! I know I have said it before but this group is a blessing!! Thanks. Re: , - Dana , Go ahead and go to the class. I'm sure it will give you lots of useful information. Guest guest
Vicki, The skating really helps! Maybe that's all I need all along. You will reach your goal too sweetie, it's just a matter of time. I can't get over the secretary checking out your pant size. What is she the weight patrol police? I would be asking her what her pant size is. Or maybe grab her one day check it out yourself. That was just rude. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann Re: Jo-Ann Wow, Jo-Ann, way to go!!!! I can't believe you've made it to yourgoal weight already......darn it, I'm still stuck at 165!! The cruisedefinately didn't help, it took a couple of weeks to get back into themood of dieting again. I have had some renewed dedication this weekthough.....I found out our secretary has been checking my pants sizewhen I leave them in the bathroom when I go on walks!!! At first Ithought it was kind of funny, but now I'm paranoid that maybe my buttlooks really huge or something!!! Anyway, I'm getting down to 150!!! Sofar I've been really good this week, but no loss of lbs yet! I hope byFriday I'll be down a little.Vicki
Guest guest
Jo-Ann.... I got this mental imgine of Vicki grabbing her pants, while she is still wearing them and looking for her pant size...that would probably really freak her out!! lol!
