Guest guest
I have bought the whole foods sausages and have never had an issue with the ones that " seem " to be SCD legal based on the list of ingredients. Of course, for your own protection, you should talk with the butcher or, better yet, get the GOLDEN LETTER and make sure that you actually tolerate all of the ingredients!! After buying several types from WF, I decided to just make my own, so now I just mix up ground pork with different spices and fruits, shape them into little patties and freeze them for when I need them. This has worked well or me and comes out a little cheaper. Be very, very careful with anything like that, ESPECIALLY from Whole Foods. They are great at disguising the sugar they add to things. " Raw cane juice " or " raw organic crystallized cane juice " and a zillion and one other substitutes. I have not yet found, when I dug into it, any Whole Foods sausage that was legal.
