Guest guest
If you buy it fresh, it should stay liquid for a couple of months. But no, you can't prevent it... > > thank you, > > Is there anyway to prevent it? or just use it fast??? > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I run the bottle under hot water and it goes back to liquid. I've also read that's a clue it has not been cut with sugar. Honey with anything added doesn't crystallize. > If you buy it fresh, it should stay liquid for a couple of months. Guest guest
My local honey supplier told me that to prevent honey from crystallizing – the best way is to freeze it. He also warned me that if I store honey in the refrigerator – it will crystallize. So I have been freezing my honey in 500ml (2 cup) containers for the last couple of months – and it works! Another observation is that it doesn’t seem to freeze rock solid. And it thaws in a couple of hours (or less) at room temperature.
