Guest guest
mine fell out after about 10 weeks- most lose theirs a little sooner. I lost may lashes and most of my brows right after the 4th and last AC. The lashes started growing back in right away. The hair on my head took longer to come in, probably about 6 weeks after the last treatment. My underarm hair/leg hair has never come back strong-under my radiation arm there is still none...all of it went to my head which has been great!! Guest guest
mine fell out after about 10 weeks that should be six weeks to fall out and ten weeks to come back in- I am backwards as usual ... I was using the nioxin shampoo as an experiment for a local salon as they were trying to confirm the study showing your hair stayed in longer on the Nioxin and came back sooner- mine did stay in longer but I do not think it came back any faster... Guest guest
Andree, did your lashes grow in longer and fuller.... I wish! I don't have much body hair anyway. I only have to shave my legs when I want to feel "sexy" Most of the time you can't even see the hair on my legs. But my underarms I have to shave every other day. WOW 10 weeks. That IS a long time. Lucky you! Trisha -- Re: Hair loss/how soon mine fell out after about 10 weeks- most lose theirs a little sooner. I lost may lashes and most of my brows right after the 4th and last AC. Guest guest
Sue, My oncologist said side effects of chemo could continue up to 7 weeks after treatment. I've heard of women keeping their eyebrows & lashes thru chem and then losing them 6 weeks after it ended. My last AC treatment was Jan 25, and I'm feeling some bristles on the top of my head! So I'm hoping no more hair will fall out and it will just keep growing. Here's to no hats or wigs by summer! - leonefam wrote on 2/20/2006, 4:41 PM: > Hi, I just finished 4 treatments of A/C -so should I expect it to keep > falling out for a few more weeks?
