Guest guest
There is no " free " reverse t3 test. It's supposed to say reverse t3. And the measurements are always in different measurements. There is a chart for figuring out RT3 ratio which is what you need to know. I think it's in the files. Are you sure it's pmol/ML for the Reverse and not ng/dl or something else. Check the chart in the files...it will help you figure out the ratio which is what matters. Decimal point moving time. It still comes in as a ratio of 10 approx >The results are: >Free T3 4.09 Pmol/L.... Liters >Reverse T3 0.47 Pmol/ML.... Milliliters The units are " Pmol " which is to do with molecular content and converts to grams via the molecular weight but this does not matter for a ratio as T3 and reverse T3 ought to weigh the same, it's just " which " iodine atom that is missing that sets them apart. > >Very confused and i didn't really get any where with him. Time for a different Doc or self treating then. Was it Dr P?? >Also the Reverse T3 didn't specify whether it was Free so even more grey areas. There is only one type of RT3 > >Can anyone shine any light on the results????? You have an RT3 problem. >Hope you are all having a good day! Pretty good thanks though it's wet in Dorset today Nick
