help, please, Nick, with first dose of SR T3

Hi Nick,

I sent this earlier today but no one has responded, so I thought I'd try again and address you directly. I've read everything at the website, so I know that you know what you're talking about.

My doctor has just prescribed SR T3, and it was sent to me by a compounding pharmacy. I learned too late that regular T3 is recommended here, so I'm stuck with a month's supply of SR. I took my first dose this morning, after being on HC and iron for a week (adrenals are very low and ferritin is 15). The SR dose was only 5 mcg. Two hours after taking it, I suddenly felt totally exhausted. Shortly afterward, I also noticed feeling a bit hyper/nervous. So hyper and exhausted simultaneously--weird. Could this possibly have anything to do with the SR T3?

I have CFS, so feeling exhausted is not news, but since I've just started SR T3, I couldn't help but wonder. My doctor prescribed two doses daily, but I haven't taken the second dose--I wanted to wait till I had a better idea of what was going on. Thanks.
