Honey causes soap to overheat and separate. A little goes a long way. Dont

use much the first few times till u get the hang of it. Honey in soap is

wonderful but is very temperamental. Can cause overheating, weird color

changes, crystals to form in soap and other things.

I was thinking about trying some honey recipes. What does it do that made

you think it was the cause of this problem and what precautions should I

take when using it?

Hi Ulla,

Whole Foods Market has a great one that is organic in one of those

" upside down " squeeze bottles. You will be able to find it here in NYC.
