Guest guest
Good afternoon all...I checked the BTVC legal list and the list on gapsdiet.com and neither mention the legality of organic palm oil/shortening... I am highly sensitive to coconut oil and am having a problem coming up with a viable alternative for cooking purposes...I have just made ghee to try as I have not been able to do butter yet and use olive oil and nut oils only for non-cooking purposes because of their oxidative properties...I use rendered animal fats on some days that correlate with certain meats but I have to rotate my foods so this is a no go for other days... can someone give me the skinny on the palm? Many thanks. Mitra SCD 1.25 Yr.
Guest guest
Yeah, it's legal. But it's got a strong taste - strikes me as better in baking than cooking.
