Guest guest
Hi Val I just saw this old post of yours. My sister is half way through her t3 only treatment and she is still smoking. Now after reading this post what should she do if she tries to stop smoking. All the signs of hypothyroidism first showed up when she quit for the first time last year for a month. So she went back to smoking but her body never recovered. Do you have any ideas for how to quit smoking and yet not hurt the adrenals. She is not taking anything for her adrenals she does not have any of the symptoms. Sky and her sister Vara To: RT3_T3 Sent: Wed, 23 December, 2009 10:23:58 AMSubject: Re: Can I Take Chantix? Guest guest
Personally I owuld wait til lthyroi d is optimal to try to stop smoking. It DOES prop up coritlsl produciton which she needs until thyroid is optimal. That she crashed when stoppign previously is a good prview of what wil lhappen again and frankly a few more months of cigarettes is easier on the body than crashed adrenals. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
