Guest guest
The veterinarian gave me a fish oil for him yesterday, too, along with the Clindamycin. Getting all these pills down is another story! I WILL have to break open the two fish oil/day as I still have the two clindamycins/day. I will also try the oak meal bath. I hurt for him! We sure make a pair - the two of us with all our pills, etc. LOL Higbee wrote: > Speaking of dry skin, My golden retriever used to have dry skin and > allergies, but a fish oil capsule a day and she looks great. Guest guest
Hi , I am so glad you feel better now about Sugar Bear. I get so upset when my Rosie is sick too. It is wonderful to see her doing so well now. I can't believe that Metacam isn't available in the U.S. because usually you have meds there that we can't get. My vet told me Europe is way ahead of us in venterinary mediine but here they are willing to try new meds and our vets at the clinic are always at the vet college to see what the latest is. My vet didn't raise an eyebrow either when I told him about the AP. I wished I could have him for my doctor. LOL My dog and cats are pretty lucky. :>))) BTW , when Rosie had such dry skin, I got an oatmeal shampoo at the vets for her and it made a huge difference. Let me know how Sugar Bear comes along. Rosie says Hi. Hugs Bev > > Hi, Bev, Sugar Bear and I just returned from the Veterinarians and he is now on > the Antitiotic Protocol! You Metacam is unavailable in the states as yet. Guest guest
Speaking of dry skin, My golden retriever used to have dry skin and allergies, but a fish oil capsule a day and she looks great. A tablespoon of flax oil mixed in her food works as well. Re: rheumatic Re: Metacam > From: " Briarwood " <briarwood@...> > > Hi , > I am so glad you feel better now about Sugar Bear. Guest guest
, I would never be able to get my dog to take a fish oil capsule or any other kind of capsule. I have to hide her pill for cushings disease in a piece of bread with Cheeze Whiz. Bev > Speaking of dry skin, My golden retriever used to have dry skin and > allergies, but a fish oil capsule a day and she looks great. Guest guest
, Get him a day of the week pill box. I have one for Rosie, a different colour than mine and s! :>))) That way you know if you've forgotten the pill.
