Andree the only thing it says on my Emend is (aprecitant). It is used to prevent nausea and so far it is doing it's job. I took it yesterday an hour before my chemo and I took it this morning and will in the morning too. That will be it until my next chemo treatment in 21 days.

I was up and down last light as I have always had a problem with sleep. I would wake up wringing wet and we turn our furnace to 50º at night. Outside temp was 16º last night with snow on the ground.

I am preparing this morning to go get the Neulasta shot. They say it will make my bones ache.

My sweet daughter has planned a small party here tomorrow evening, bringing along the other 5 female members of her band that love me. I sure hope I don't crater while they are here. It will be my 62nd birthday.

This morning is a good one for me. No side effects yet. I am also going at 3:00 to have my staples taken out from the surgery. That will make me feel better too! They are a real pain and one of them hits me at the belt line.

Hugs and

Trisha

I also have an RX for Prochlorperazine 10mg. Should I take these pills BEFORE I need them or wait?

that is compazine, I would go ahead and take it,

that and anything else they gave you for nausea.

Is that emend the same as Zofram?

I took that the night before and then for three days, one a day.

This was almost two years ago- I am sure they have some good new stuff,

No, not for the upcoming surgery...more setting the stage to see where I am since diagnosis, surgery, treatment. I haven't had any scans since June 2004, and never had a PET before, let alone a PET/CT combined.

I guess you could say a way to clear my mind...I've become a little more anxious lately, worrying my good luck will run out. I know, I'm usually in the optimists column...it's just a fear of mine. I've read highest odds for reoccurrence are within first (2) years, and that anniversary is looming. I've just been afraid lately, I think more so since HER/2neu positive was added to my list!

Thanks for your comments about the parabens, etc. It's great to see someone so enlightened about natural products. I've read your comments on your website: I am proud to be a part of this group with you...plus I think we have a very common interest: Trisha.

Best to you,

Andree do you make a face moisturizer? I looked on your site and didn't see one.

Helllo Andree,

That is so true about being paranoid about cancer reoccurence. I have made appointments for tests on every orifice:) the next three months. We have to live each day to the best of our ability, though.

I have changed about my views on environment. Read labels- going organic for the most part. I was reading about my wrinkle cream and that has paraben. So now I am going to look at the website (which one of the 's?) for shampoo and moisturizers. We can be a little more aware of what we are intaking and putting on our bodies.

That's all you can do.

I did not know about the risk for two years...I lost three friends this past summer, all in their fourth year...

I think every time something feels a little different we will always tend to think CANCER.

I know I had gotten a dry cough the first of January and just knew it had gone to my lungs as I only have a cold about every 15 years or so....nope...came down with a huge respiratory

bug and was never so grateful to be sick with a bug...LOL

Oh boy, did I have fun opening your package, Andree. Many, many

extras and I can't thank you enough. I tried the Shea souffle and

the soap last night. The bath salts did not agree with my

skin....maybe that's why I don't use them very often. But the Shea

and aloe packets are yet to be used. I used the lip balm sample last

night too. It is really super.

I have three fingers that hurt as I type so this won't be long.

JUST A BIG THANK YOU TO ANDREE.
