Guest guest
I just noticed another poster showing labs. Her range was much different from my lab range. According to my T3 level, I'm way to high at 5.4 and over the 4.4 range for Labcorp. My doctor wants me down under 4. Another poster had 6.5 as their lab range. If I was using that lab, my 5.4 would not be top of the range. This irks me. What gives? If all labs are not using the same ranges then how are people getting properly treated? I know it's wiser to go by symptoms, but for some type of clinical evidence, shouldn't all labs use the same ranges?

I will write more about them later but they are basically broken. There are 2 types of unit used, " fractions of a gram " and " mol " , they give different ranges but even taking that into account there is a big skew and where you feel best may not be in the " range " .
