Guest guest
Hi, I have a question about reverse T3 (for my partner). I'm wondering whether it would be worth getting this tested. She's been on thyroid (first armour, now erfa) for about a year now. Initially the old armour did some good things, but she still had symptoms. Then she crashed, but has improved a bit on erfa. She went on HC, and got up to 22mg. It didn't seem to make much difference. She's weaned off now, and doesn't feel any different to when she was on it. Recently, she's feeling like the erfa's not doing much at all. She's gone down from 6 grains to 2, and hasn't noticed much of a change. Do you think reverse T3 could be responsible for this? It could also be low Ferritin, if you get her tested for FT3, RT3 and Ferritin and post the results here someone will take a look for you.
