Going to the doc tomorrow and I don't think he knows how to treat for RT3

dominance. I've been reading the Thyroid-RT3.com site and have a few questions

how to dose.

Val has already figured the ratio for me; it's 12.1. I'm currently on 4 gr of

Naturethroid with many hypo symptoms. My ferritin has fallen and I don't want to

wait to start T3 treatment unless I have to.

Ferritin - 36 ng/mL (10-291)

This is what Val figured the ratio on:

FT3 - 2.92 pmol/L (2.1-3.8)

RT3 - 24.0 ng/dl (11-32)

FT4 - 1.07 ng/dl (0.82-1.63)

TT3 - 170 ng/dl (60-181)

Salivary Cortisol:

Morning: 14.5 (8.0-15.0)

Midday: 9.9 (3.0-7.0) * HIGH

Evening: 4.0 (2.0-4.0)

Night: 2.2 (<1.5) * HIGH

I don't want to make myself worse, so do you think I can take small amounts of

T3 and reduce the NT? I will restart my ferrous gluconate. I'm also using an

iron skillet.

Should I ask the doc for cytomel? How much to start? I really want to start the

T3 process quickly, if I can. I'm sooooo tired of being sick..........

Thanks everyone.
