Guest guest
So I went to get my cytomel script filled at pharmacy. Script says 5 mcg cytomel. I get the medication and the pharmacy has written on the label: 50 mcg. tablets. I opened the bottle and they were 5 mcg. tablets. I asked him for a new label, just in case of emergency I don't need any medical personnel thinking I'm taking 50 mcg. tablets. The pharmacist wanted me to return the label that stated '50 mcg' but I refused to return it. I said I needed it for the book I plan to write on medical/pharmacy errors. I did put the new label on top of the wrong one, though. Reminds me of the time the pharmacist in error wrote '1 teaspoon' of antibiotic, when the doc had written 1/2 teaspoon. My infant had a not-pretty convulsion.
