Guest guest
Hello All, I have been drinking Izze's because the label says juice and sparkling water. No refined sugars added and no preservatives. All natural. I have been skeptical about the labelingso I called the company to confirm. They have confirmed that the sugar comes from all of the fruits only and they use sparkling water. That's it. So I don't know if anyone drinks these but they are a great substitute for soda. This might be old news to everyone. Dvon

You will need to write to them -- physically -- and get a letter on their letterhead confirming this statement. Phone calls aren't enough. <smile> I use legal plain sparkling water and add it to a few tablespoons of legal fruit juice. Much safer and very delicious. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Hi Dvon, From what I recall (I used to gulp Izze drinks) it is made from fruit juice concentrate. I also thought this was legal until it was explained to me how the concentrating process is done. So even if they don't add sugar to the concentrate the concentrate itself is so jam packed with natural sugar making it very hard for us to tolerate. As it is we are supposed to dilute normal juices.
