Guest guest
At the website carrageenan is listed as an illegal. In the book it says you can make yogurt using half-n-half or heavy cream. Every cream or half-n-half that I pick up has this illegal in it and most also have something called sodium citrate and disodium phosphate. It does say that they contain less than 1% of these ingredients. The half-n-half that I find without the illegal carrageenan says that one of the ingredients is cream. Does that mean that that cream has the illegal in it? Can I use these to make yogurt? Thanks

Does that mean that that cream has > the illegal in it? no, that one is all right. half and half is half milk and half cream. if it had carrageenen in it, it would say. Trader Joe's has half and half and cream, both without carrageenan, if you have one near you. > > > Can I use these to make yogurt? use the half and half without carrageenan. that's legal.
