Guest guest Posted September 24, 2008 Report Share Posted September 24, 2008 Ok so this is my second go around with the SCD (i have had UC for 9 years). First time i went too quick in the adding foods dept. and made things worse. This time im doing it right (i hope). So far i have done the intro diet for 5 days (had pretty severe D- roughly 15 times a day) then started adding more meats and grape juice and now have added eggs. I am wondering how long my D will stay with me and how long my frequency will be kinda high. Right now i am going roughly 7-9 times as D and feel i have lost way too much weight (about 20 lbs.) Im thinking that maybe i added eggs too soon, but am wondering what other foods i can add besides trying the yogurt now and meats. I think that DCCC is also for a later time but im gonna try it and see. If anyone has answers to the length of D, stool forming foods maybe, frequency of D, and any intro foods i may have missed. I really want to gain my 20lbs back because i need it, so any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Greg UC for 9 years (have been on asacol, pentasa, colazol, prednisone and 6-mp) currently not on any meds but have used imodium the past couple days to see if it would help.
