New to forum.,Hi to all and a quick question

Hi all, I am new to the forum and am doing lots and lots of reading. Was taking

4 grains for the past few years up thru June, when $$ ran out for private doc

(HMO wouldn't treat). Was off thyroid completely for about 5 months, TSH (family

MD didn't run any others) was 3.76 at my annual in Nov. In the last four weeks

have started self medicating worked back up to 3 grains. My HMO agreed to refer

me to an endo and I am waiting to see if he'll run the tests I want. Wish me

luck. If he won't, I need to narrow down and run minimal tests due to $$. While

on 4 grains of Armour my T3 was in the upper third of the range and T4 was

usually around 0.8 with TSH suppressed to 0.01. Comments and/or suggestions

would be appreciated.
