BUMP: Re: High BP and pulse on HC

Ok, I substituted 4 Isocorts for my last HC dose of 5 mg. I realize this is a

little higher in mg at 1.5. Story is below in my first post.

Anyhoo, my BP is down (after 4 hours) from 138/82, pulse 99 to a more normal

124/66, pulse 92 - not as low as usual but closer to normal. Chest tightness has

gone, anxiety has decreased a lot.

So what do I do? Mix HC and Isocort?

I was on 10, 10, 7.5, 5 of the HC for the last 19 days. Before that I was on

Isocort: 7, 5, 4, 3, and 2 at bedtime. Total 21 Isocorts which I gathered was

too many and why I switched. (And a little expensive too since a bottle only

lasts 10 -12 days. But I feel a lot better tonight than I have in the last 19

days. So $ will not be an issue.)

I'm sure it's not good for me to have that high-for-me BP and pulse, plus all

the anxiety it gave me can't be doing my adrenals any good. It's not like I felt

better. I was even brain foggier on the HC, no concentration at all. And not

more energy.

I'm afraid to switch back quickly to Isocort since I don't want to get sick

again. Can I mix Isocort and HC? For long term? At least for a while?

My body obviously has a problem with the HC (). And I feel like I have to

give my heart a rest.

HELP!

Pulse is in the high 90's.
