I remember while on " full meds " for years while feeling pretty good, I had an FT4 of 10, and an FT3 of around 6 or 6.5 most of the time. That was while on 100 mcg T4 and 40 mcg T3. I have learned that you should have an FT3 in the upper range to feel good. That agrees with what I said, you are ready for an increase. Guest guest
So you're saying the blood sample results are not of any use for me now? I thought an FT3 around 5.5 meant I get too little T3? Yes. I definitely need to do my tonsils, that's for sure. Â it is really near impossible to tell where your thyroi dis with your temps too high. Guest guest
So if I have a chronic infection in my body, which I possibly and most probably have in my tonsils, though it is not visible in the blood with a CRP test (I do see higher whites every now and then though) - We can't use temps and pulse to tell anything. That's why we must look at the blood samples of FT3, or?I feel extremely sleepy and tired today. Does this mean my body is asking for more T3? I am currently at 25 mcg T3 daily. Not much, now is it.My temp is usually at 37.0 C (98.6 F) or sometimes in the past days, at 37.1 or 37.2 (98.8, 99.0) a few times. The average has been 37.0 (98.6) for many weeks, and lately sometimes 37.1 (98.8). Pulse has gone up after I increased to 25 mcg T3, and is now usually 80.My latest labs again:FT3 5.5FT4 10.9TSH 1.64+Ferritin 64B12 570 it is really near impossible to tell where your thyroi dis with your temps too high. Guest guest
You really think I am ready for an increase Nick? Even if my temp has gotten 0.1 or 0.2 C higher at some readings? (Can also be the infection I have somewhere in my head causing this rise in temps!) Mostly I get 37.0 C though. Right now I am deciding if I should do the tonsils first then go to Hertoghe, or the other way around. > >It looks like FT3 is too low. Too low to make me feel great anyway. Guest guest
Well yeah, first the pulse was higher every time I measured it since upping to 25. After a few days I got low 70s readings again like I had before with a mix of that and low 80s. It could mean I need more T3. Thanks for the advice on plotting pulse with the temp, Nick! I have a nice little diary with temps/pulse now.TSH is definitely higher than it was Ever before! 1.6! And I was feeling peachy and fine with a TSH of <0.01 for years while on T4 and T3 combo! :-) That's something for the TSH-docs to think about! > >You really think I am ready for an increase Nick?
