It takes a bit of getting used to, being bald <grin> - my husband got used

to it before I did, as he looks at me much more than I look at myself. I

kept catching sight of myself in the mirror, very pink around the head, and

not liking it much ... but this was me, no getting away from it.

I know some women hate the idea of losing their hair, but I wanted to say it

really doesn't matter. You're still you, and it will come back after the

chemo.

I'm still on chemo, but the Taxol which took my hair off is finished now and

my current drug which might have kept it off didn't.

You will look fine without hair, although different. By the time you are

used to it, the hair will have started to come back, and I have to say it

feels nice to touch - all soft and fluffy like the new hair on a baby's

head.
