I just wondered if there is a canned fruit that is legal.

I thought I had read on her awhile back that there are some.

Serious CHERRY flavor! The first time I made it, the cherries were juicier than I anticipated, and the only thing I had handy was some dried Granny apple slices, so I used those, and they worked well,

and were less expensive than the all cherries.

Only canned fruit which is canned IN ITS OWN JUICE is legal. Not

" canned in white grape juice " or whatever. There has been a

problem of late with pineapple canned in pineapple juice that has other

stuff added.

Fresh or fresh frozen fruit is much better.
