Re: Are homeopathic drops legal?

The little pellets are NOT legal, they are made with lactose (milk

sugar,) but if you can find the tinctures, they ARE legal as long as

they are made with alcohol (I haven't seen any other kind of tincture,

but I just wanted to cover my bases and didn't want to include ALL

drops that I may not have seen.) But also remember, Elaine had

mentioned that if you need a certain medication that is unavailable in

SCD form, then by all means take your medication as needed. I

personally feel that homeopathy is more helpful than any prescription

medication I have tried (and in over 25 years with CD, I have tried

nearly all of them!) So, along those lines, I try to find tinctures

when possible, but if I can't, I use the pellets. Also, even though

the packaging says to take about 5 pellets, you really only need one

(take two if it makes you feel better, but one is really all you

need.) I work very closely with a Certified Classical Homeopath

(CCH), and I recommend doing the same when using homeopathy for either

acute or chronic conditions. Also, if you are very sensitive to any

illegal, a CCH will help you find what you need in tincture form from

one of the Homeopathic manufacturers (like Hahnemann Labs.)

Hope this helps,

SCD on and off for 4 yrs

no meds, just homeopathy and supplements
