Would rather not use store ready

ground cinnamon-How can I grind whole cinnamon sticks? I tried the coffee

grinder (that I use only for spices and herbs) It does comes out too

chunky. The Micoplain isn't great either.

So, you grate it as fine as you can with either tool, and then dump it

into a mortar, and grind it fine with a pestle. There are marbe mortar

and pestle sets, also metal, also wood. Find the one which works best for

your situation.
