tests, tests and more test

I had my appointment with a new rheumy on Friday. My new PCP ran a truckload of tests in January and he is running even more. One test that stood out very positively was for Sjogren's. Didn't really surprise me at all on that one. He started me on Plaquenil. He said it takes awhile to take effect and he hopes to be able to get me off of Methotrexate if the Plaquenil will work. Here's hoping...

He will be gone all of next week (of course) but I am supposed to talk to him the week after to get any more results from the tests. He also took a ton of baseline x-rays of my hands, knees and feet for the RA. Now I just need a baseline eye test for the Sjogren's.

That would make it likely you have secondary Sjogren's which at least

is less of a burden than Primary Sjogren's. They have a big

discussion board called Sjogren's World which is very intreesting.
