Guest guest
Why didn't you stress dose? Yes it was low cortils adrenaline that made you sweat like that and YES you shoudl take extra HC NOW. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Would 2.5 or 5.0 mg HC now do it? It's been 2 hours since I was there.. Feeling weak. But I'm not shaking. Is that low cortisol too, when you're not shaking?Subject: Re: Just had a check at the dentist, 1 hour check - Feeling very, very sleepy now!To: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 26, 2010, 4:05 PM Â Why didn't you stress dose? Guest guest
I didn't stress dose before the appointment, nor under it, cause I was worried I could get too much HC. I am on 27.5 mg and my face is very round, plus I have a constant headache. Wondering if HC is doing this to me.. But who knows right? It is of course better to take more than less HC. When I came home it was time for my second HC dose of the day at 7.5 mg. I took that with T3. And after another your, right now, I just took 2.5 mg HC as a stress dose. Maybe I should take 2.5 more? Guest guest
I took my first 7.5 mg of HC at 11:30 am with my first dose of T3, and prepared myself for the dentish appointment at 1 pm. I was there from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. A sweared a lot from my hands, and felt stressed most of the time, but not very stressed, as I know the dentish personally and he's a good guy and was talking non-stop about everything he did. No cavities, I did have gum infection tho. Thought about stress-dosing but didn't - Only cause I was afraid of taking too much HC. (I know, I'm stupid!)30 minutes after the dentist, I was home again. I took my scheduled 7.5 mg of HC along with my second dose of T3. Then after another 1 1/2 hours, I felt very sleepy, so I took 2.5 mg HC as a stress dose, then 20 minutes later another 2.5 mg HC dose as a stress dose. I still feel very sleepy now, 1 hour after I stress dose with those 5 mgs of HC. I have another scheduled dose of HC coming up now at 6 pm. I now run 3 hours between my HC and T3 doses. Is this fine?I was just wondering... Is there a chance that I can produce too much cortisol myself and that the HC I am taking, especially extra, is making me too high in cortisol causing me to feel sleepy? If there is any truth (which there probably isn't) in those blood and urine samples I've been doing while being on HC, I am high cortisol. But high serum cortisol doesn't have to mean high Cell cortisol, according to my specialist. My urine cortisol is about the double of what's normal.Shouldn't low cortisol make a person shake? I have not been shaking today. I am trying to learn the difference between Low and High cortisol symptoms. Please bare with me.
Guest guest
The shaking cortils being low causes is often described as INTERNAL shaking and not always visible on the outside at all unless adrenaline causes it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
I surely had that shaking in 2008 - For sure! After arguing with my wife every single day all thru 2008 and into 2009. I remember shaking, and thinking.. "What IS this shaking and why does it happen every time I get upset?" - I had no such thing today though.
