Guest guest
Hi Sue, You probably don't even need to go to a health food store to find HC cream. I got mine at Target when I first started, and I would guess Walmart, K-mart, grocery stores, and drug stores would have it too. You are just looking for 1% hydrocortisone. It is a white cream in a small tube that is used for itchy, rashy skin usually. My tube from Target says " anti-itch creme " and above it tells that it is 1% hydrocortisone as the active ingredient. Good luck! Amy > > Please bear with me as I ask again what HC is. My email system crashed and I lost all of my emails and I wanted to go to the health food store to find HC cream. I have so many allergies that my thoughts is try the cream first. > > Thanks so much for your understanding. > > Blessings, > Sue in OK >
Guest guest
Sue, HC is shorthand for hydrocortisone cream. It can be found in any first aid section at a walmart, cvs, walgreens, etc. It comes in 0.5% and 1% strengths. I use the 1% strength because it is less cream. The adrenal list has a dosing FAQ. The short form is 1mL of 1% cream equals 10mg cortisol. If you go to the pharmacy counter and ask for an " oral dosing syringe " you can usually get one free. Hope this helps, Jennie > > Please bear with me as I ask again what HC is. My email system crashed and I lost all of my emails and I wanted to go to the health food store to find HC cream.
