Guest guest
My in-laws are taking our family to the Rainforest Cafe for my 13 year old daughters b-day. My 11 year old daughter has Crohn's and has been following the SCD for two months. I so badly want her to enjoy this occasion with the family. They will be ordering a chocolate volcano to celebrate which I know she cannot have. First, I'm wondering if there is ANYTHING she could order off the menu for her dinner or do I need to pack her food? Secondly, Is there anything that I can take dessertwise for her to eat? Something fabulous. :-) She tolerates everything that is considered legal on the SCD. She even drinks the almond milk, eats raw nuts, raw fruit, and nut butters. I suspect part of that is because she also takes Pentasa 1500mg a day. (non-steroidal anti inflammatory) for her Crohn's. If she didn't, we may experience difficulties.
