Guest guest
Well, not a whole night, actually. Just about 90 minutes. But still, it's 90 minutes more than zero minutes. And don't get me wrong, I'm REALLY grateful to be feeling better. It's just that some meals are easier to deal with than others. We've found a local Asian food restaurant that will take good care of me in the kitchen. I can get steamed shrimp, other seafood, chicken, whatever, plus a big pile of yummy veggies, plus rice. And I don't get sick. The part that made me sad is that we all went there tonight. To a one we were all ravenous. So, my hubby ordered two gluten goodies for appetizers and soups for whoever wanted soups. That was all before the meal! So, I was still ravenous and every one around me was rapidly becoming less ravenous by consuming gluten goodies without me. And the gluten goodies smelled so good, too. Sigh. How can I deprive my family of pleasure? I can't, in good conscience. But still... The " Woe Is Me " Monster really has a field day when I'm ravenously hungry and every one around me is chowing down on gluten goodies. Thanks for letting me whine. I know that you all will understand. Esther in RI
