Guest guest
You need antithyroid meds to get this under control THEN once T3 and T4 levesl are reduced, you can try a block and replace with T3 onyl. The reason you feel hypo is twofold, first I am certain your RT3 is through the roof blocking most that T3 form the cells or you would be dead. And second because of the high thyroid levels and high RT3 levesl your heart is VERY over worked causing fluid retenoitn and exhaustion. Have you had cortiosl tested? These levels will exhaust adrenals in no time too. I woudl be trying methimazole or propanolol, deoending on your pulse. Is it high? If so propanolol woudl be best for now and monitoring the levels as once they are reasonable low you can then start T3 to try to reduce the hormone output nd suopress your thyroid's ocver productiojn. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
What did he replace with? T4? That is almost guaranteed to fail as high thyroid levels cause very high RT3 which needs T3 to clear it so thyroid can work in the cells again. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
First you need to reduce the T3 in your blood. To do that you need the Methimazole. You said oyu had a low pulse? If so Methimazole would be best to BLOCK your own thyroid production thne once the blood levels FALL you would take T3 to keep the TSH totally supressed. For this to work you would need a 0.01 TSH at the highest. Bets to get you rblood thyroid levels LOW in range before starting the T3 though as it is VERY hard on your whole nervous system with it being this high even though ti si not reaching the cells. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
