Guest guest
It's now 17 days post-op and, yes, things are getting better. After the puking up blood problem, I am now taking an over the counter acid reducer that Dr. Baker (he's an associate of Dr. Antone) said was ok to take. I do have some vomiting, but I think it's either because I try to eat too much, or drink too fast. I do miss the dowing of a tall cool glass of water though. I still haven't figured out what items eat best, but so far no problems with chicken or fried eggs. Sure, I only eat a little bit, but am eating slowly and really tasting the bites of food. Each day does get better. I've been out to the Commissary, Block Buster Video, Long's Drugs and Walmart. I've promised to knit a pullover for my grandson in red yarn for his first picture w/Santa (he was 2 months yesterday) and also to babysit him on Tuesday while Mommy and Daddy run some errands. I've watched him for a few hours last week. It's a good thing he is so young so all I have to do is sit with him and cuddle. Blessed Be. Your blood problem sounded so scary, it's a relief to know that you are feeling so well...and even well enough to watch a baby, at that!
