Corn Dogs

I tried making corn dogs for my little guys today and the flavor of the

batter is right but it did not stay on the dog. The recipe said to fry them

in a pan and while one side was cooking the batter ran off the top and

puddled around the bottom.

Should I try deep fat frying them? It is a simple recipe and my daughter

loves hotdogs and it would give her a quick meal that I could do up in the

freezer.

Any suggestions?
