Guest guest
, have you tried taking T3 sublingually? I talke my Cytomel this way and it really makes a difference. I think sublingual takes care of absorption issues. Can't do it with some/all generics though.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryDate: Wed, 27 Jan 2010 19:36:50 -0000To: <RT3_T3 >Subject: Has anyone tried Cream Compounded T3? It seems SR T3 or T3 taken orally can bind and not absorb well.Has anyone tried to use a cream version? I talked to my compounded pharmacy and they said they can make a cream T3 but it isn't sustained release. Thanks,
Guest guest
While I have no experience with transdermal t3, I can say that we have used it transdermal applications for other medications on our group and the absorption rate is about 20% of oral and sometimes not steady....so you may not get the same amount each time. I'd try sublingual first. jan > > It seems SR T3 or T3 taken orally can bind and not absorb well. > > Has anyone tried to use a cream version? > > I talked to my compounded pharmacy and they said they can make a cream T3 but it isn't sustained release. > > Thanks, > > >
Guest guest
Thanks for the replies. I am starting to remove the RT3 and using SR T3 which I take twice a day. I am only at 15mcg which I take 8am and 8pm. Seeing how it goes with me, if it starts to give me issues I may have to go cytomel. I have the adrenal fatigue and having to watch this too. I am on the adrenal fatigue group and decided to come over and visit since I am focused on this now. > > > > It seems SR T3 or T3 taken orally can bind and not absorb well. > > > > Has anyone tried to use a cream version? > > > > I talked to my compounded pharmacy and they said they can make a cream T3 but it isn't sustained release. > > > > Thanks, > > > > > > >
