Guest guest
I'm a newbie on the SCD diet and am still learning the do's/don'ts for my body. One question I have though is when can we introduce seafood into the diet? (I'd been a vegetarian who ate fish pre-SCD. I've tried to re-introduce some meats back into my diet during the SCD diet and am having trouble digesting the meat at this point.) In the stages list (on peacanbread.com) it says in the intro diet/stage 1 you can have roasted/broiled/boiled chicken, beef, turkey, lean pork or lean game meats, but no info on seafood. Is seafood ok (esp like shrimp, mahi mahi etc) and if so is there a stage that's better to introduce that to my stomach? Also, what about cheeses? I'm still in the intro stage/stage 1 (barely) after 10 days. When can/should I begin to introduce chedder and other SCD legal cheeses? Thanks for your help! The stages on pecanbread is just supposed to be a guide, not something you have to follow religiously. Mara
