Guest guest
Hi guys, AT my last blood test my ferrtin was at 60 (getting better . I have been supplementing with a prescription iron called pruvate. Has worked pretty well for me. Its 125mg of elemental iron with some vitc and b12 in it. Anyway I take it at night so its away from everything. But by mid day I feellike I may have burned through all of it cuz I get those hypo feelings and feel like maybe I should add some more. When you do guys take your iron? I know you take it 4 hours apart from thyroid although my doc said 2 hours. Would I be ok if I added say 25 more mg to see if it helps? And I also feel like I am low days 18 and up in my cycle and wonder if I may need more as I approcah my period. Appreciate the thoughts. This sounds more like thyroid/HC than Iron, iron is pretty slow changing in the body > >When you do guys take your iron? Val suggests 150 of elemental iron as a dose anyway so give it a try Nick
Guest guest
What if you don't have 4 hours away from T3?! I dose 4x.day and I need to take iron 2x/day as my ferritin is plummeting. I thought if we take T3 sublingually, then we don't have to worry about interactions. Is this so? > > >Anyway I take it at night so its away from everything. Sublingual works well, the Grossman dissolves easily and quickly like that Nick
