Is colonoscopy/endoscopy necessary?

My 3yo is scheduled for a colonoscopy/endoscopy/pill cam. Blood tests

(IBD Serology 7 prometheus labs) came back consistent with Crohns. We

have been on SCD for 3 weeks. I'd like to hold off on scoping and see

what this diet can do. If we scope, I know the dr. will want to do all

sorts of meds etc. Has anyone else been in this situation before? What

did you choose to do? I figure I can always reschedule the procedures

at a later date. Am I way off base?
