More likely, since you were using the GI Pro starter, which is

dairy-free, and probably using it in goat's milk, your real issue is the

minute amount of cow dairy in the Yogourmet starter.

If you cannot get the GI Pro starter, you can make one liter of goat

yogurt using one packet of Yogourmet. Then use an appropriate amount of

that goat yogurt as the starter for goat yogurt for your little one. This

should dilute the cow dairy to the point that it won't be a problem. (You

can probably eat the rest of the first batch yourself.)

The small amout of sucrose will get fermented along with the lactose

during the fermentation process.
